Responsibilities

Negotiate favorable terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers.
Ensure a stable and costeffective supply chain for essential materials.
Lead supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Lead suppliers' review through effective discussions on quality standards of API and essential materials.
Implement costsaving initiatives without compromising quality.
Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed procurement decisions.
Implement and manage effective sourcing strategies to deliver cost reduction.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Resolve issues and disputes with suppliers in a timely manner.
Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions e.g., during pandemic.
Work closely with crossfunctional teams, including Research and Development, Production, and Quality Control including for new product development and new market requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree or equivalent
At least
58 years managerial procurement experience in
Pharmaceutical/FMCG/Chemical industry
Sourcing experience in
active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) will be an added advantage.
Good understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and logistics.
Knowledge of sourcing strategies, vendor management, and contract negotiation.
Strong negotiation skills, adept problemsolving skills, analytical and good stakeholders management.
Proficient in English and Mandarin to support business needs (Global suppliers include China).

Salary:
RM12, RM16,000.00 per month
