This internship at Food Market Hub's Merchant Activation department offers an important role in driving the platform's growth. It provides the chance to gain hands-on experience in merchant activation and onboarding, working closely with an experienced team.The program aims to provide a thorough understanding of the food service industry and develop skills in relationship building, project management, and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the onboarding process for new restaurant merchants onto the Food Market Hub platform.
- Conduct market research and identify potential restaurant partners for merchant activation.
- Communicate with restaurant owners and managers to explain the benefits of joining our platform.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new merchants.
- Assist in creating training materials and documentation for merchant activation processes.
- Analyse data and provide insights to optimise merchant activation strategies.
- Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the overall merchant activation workflow.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in the food service industry and passion for technologydriven solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Detailoriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in customer service or sales roles is advantageous but not required.

Contract length: 3 months
Salary:
Up to RM800.00 per month

- Monday to Friday

- Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
