This internship at Food Market Hub's Merchant Activation department offers an important role in driving the platform's growth. It provides the chance to gain hands-on experience in merchant activation and onboarding, working closely with an experienced team.

The program aims to provide a thorough understanding of the food service industry and develop skills in relationship building, project management, and business development.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the onboarding process for new restaurant merchants onto the Food Market Hub platform.
Conduct market research and identify potential restaurant partners for merchant activation.
Communicate with restaurant owners and managers to explain the benefits of joining our platform.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for new merchants.
Assist in creating training materials and documentation for merchant activation processes.
Analyse data and provide insights to optimise merchant activation strategies.
Contribute ideas and suggestions to improve the overall merchant activation workflow.

Requirements:

Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong interest in the food service industry and passion for technologydriven solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Detailoriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with CRM systems and project management tools is a plus.
Prior experience in customer service or sales roles is advantageous but not required.
