Position:
Content Moderator Indonesian speaker

Location:
Work from Home *device provided
Working hours: 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday

Salary:
RM4,000

Term:
Renewable 3 months contract depends on project

Start date: 1 April 2024

Responsibilities:

Evaluate content (both text and images) and ensure its compliance with Content Moderation Guidelines, which includes screening for offensive language, adult content, and disrespectful material.
Stay informed and updated on online community standards and norms.
Conduct thorough quality and accuracy checks on all content.
Make decisions to approve or reject new or revised submissions based on Moderation Guidelines.
Due to the nature of this role, individuals may encounter potentially distressing content and must exhibit resilience and maturity.
Exhibit a demonstrated ability to creatively solve problems and analyze situations despite ambiguous workflows or instructions.
Showcase a proven capability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
Conduct additional web research to understand user search trends and provide relevant information.
Demonstrate proficiency in creative writing, adhering to consistent formats and citing sources accurately.
Participate in peer audits as part of the process model and assist in training when necessary.
Adhere to all Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to minimize potential business impact.

Requirements:

Excellent verbal, written English and Indonesian communication skills.
Experience in Content Moderator will be an added advantage
Can thrive under stress and mínimal supervision
Comfortable watching sensitive/explicit content
Familiarity with internet laws and regulations and/or in particular reviewing online content;
Comfortable with and understand that the job requires reviewing internet content that may be deemed inappropriate and / or contain explicit materials
