Job Overview
The Warehouse Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of the warehouse. This position involves various tasks related to inventory management, order processing, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
Inventory Management
- Ensure Equipment/Part(s) picking and issuance to internal department is within SLA.
- Ensures Equipment/Part(s) returning and put away is within SLA.
- Ensure Inventory levels and ensure Equipment/Part(s) are replenished/ordered when buffer levels are reached.
Warehouse Organization
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment by arranging items, sweeping floors, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist in optimizing warehouse layout to improve efficiency and accessibility.
Safety
- Responsible for storage of hazardous item(s).
- Adhere to safety guidelines, procedures, and protocols to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment.
- Follow company policies and regulatory requirements related to warehouse operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma in a related field or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Minimum 1 years knowledge of warehousing.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and recordkeeping.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.) safely and efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative team player.
