Description

Responsibilities_:

  • Collaborate with the IT Project Team to plan and deliver new features for our messaging app, playing a key role in driving customer success.
  • Develop product roadmaps, business models, and strategies for revenue generation, effectively communicating the reasoning behind product releases and design decisions.
  • Act as the Product Manager, overseeing products through the entire development life cycle, utilizing Agile Scrum methodology.
  • Conduct design sprints with Product Design and other stakeholders, facilitating user research, problem definition, idea generation, and prioritization.
  • Gather business requirements, prioritize features, and collaborate with scrum team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of product features.
  • Build and maintain a welldefined and prioritized backlog, providing clear requirements for new initiatives and enhancements.
  • Understand customer needs and define product requirements, features, and functionality accordingly.
  • Work closely with the Product Design & UX team to create engaging user experiences, utilizing wireframe tools such as Figma and Balsamiq.
  • Take a handson approach to operational monitoring and product launch activities.
  • Conduct product marketing activities as needed.
  • Provide ongoing analysis of product effectiveness using a datadriven approach.
  • Analyze the impact, usage, and adoption of features and improvements, making necessary adjustments to ensure success.
  • Research and stay informed about competitive offerings, industry regulations, and operational constraints.
  • Influence the team through effective communication and collaboration with the IT team during product development.
  • Define success metrics for the product and manage stakeholder expectations, taking ultimate responsibility for the product's performance.
  • Coordinate product launches, working with the marketing team to develop messaging and gotomarket strategies, and ensuring the necessary teams and partners are prepared for a successful launch.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the team lead.
  • Requirements_:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 3 years of project management experience.
  • Strong background in writing business cases, functional requirements, and design documents.
  • Experience in developing B2B or B2C software products, with knowledge of APIs and thirdparty integrations being an advantage.
  • Expertise in product management methodologies and tools, such as Agile, Scrum, and JIRA.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Mandarin, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Skilled in engaging stakeholders and managing their expectations.
  • Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask, and prioritize tasks.
  • Analytical and critical thinking mindset with strong attention to detail and a problemsolving approach. Proficient in qualitative and quantitative analysis.
  • Datadriven decisionmaking skills, with the ability to implement product experiments based on defined criteria.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both internally and externally.
  • Outcomedriven mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Familiar with packet networking is an advantage for the position

Job Types:
Permanent, Full-time


Salary:
From RM8,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Performance bonus

  • Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
