After the 17 Jan 2023 while looking for a full-time job, I spend my time doing on a part-time and on an as and when needs basis the following: 

i) LalaMove Driver: I do part-time deliveries on an as and when needs basis on demand as per customer's request(s) either thru the LalaMove Driver Applications or upon requests or on assignments.
ii) Social Media advertisement: I do part-time social media advertisements to promote activities/events for friends and family members.
iii) I help out family, friends, neighbours and many senior citizens I come accross who face issues with their eWallet, moblie apps i.e. LalaMove, MySejahtera, Penang Smart Parking, Touch n Go, etc. just like what Digital Clinic at Digital Penang No. 15B & 16B, BangunanWisma Yeap Chor Ee, Pengkalan Weld, 10300 Georgetown, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia is doing.
iv) In my free time I attend classes provided by Digital Penang whereby they give free basic technology classes open to adults and senior citizens  every Thursday (2nd & 4th week of the month from 9.30am to 12pm at Level 3 of Digital Penang @ Wisma Yeap Chor Ee to solve adults and senior citizen's basic questions like how to use certain Applications and any questions that would help solve their digital and technology issues to help the Penang Government successfully promote digital adoption and upskilling of digital literacy among Penang communities. Whenever I see there is no Mandarin translator around during such classes I will volunteer to help to translate to Mandarin on a 1 to 1 basis for the benefit of those Mandarin speaking adults and senior citizens there who happen to have difficulty communicating and understanding the classes that were conducted only in either Malay and or English. 

v) On the 19th Feb 2023, I was head hunted by a recruitment company called CME Group from the USA to be their Freelance Reviewer: I would rate and review selected merchants and attractions, give reviews and ratings on their websites found on Google Maps as per the company's request. However, the company would only contact me for assignments when there are any requests from their customers to rate and review their websites.  

vi) During my free time, I love to learn how to generate passive income thru watching TikTok on AppStation, reading novels on Novelah Apps, how to make money daily with Maybank's MAE Applications, get useful tips and advise on how to do business online, and watch useful tips and advices thru YouTube videos like how to make USD working from home as a freelancer etc. under local YouTube hosts like Pemburu Dollar, Wan Muhd Ali, Nisa Affendi and international YouTube hosts like Justin from Real Money Strategies, Elmer O Locker Jr, Go Manifesting, Odetta Rockhead-Kerr and Scholarships Corner.                                                                                                                                               

After graduating in July 1997, I joined Ernst & Young (1 Aug 1997 - 28 Feb 1998) as Audit Assistant. I audited manufacturing, retail and dormant companies. I analyze profit before tax, company's liquidity, performance turnover, forecast growth of companies and prepared financial year end reports for dormant companies.

From 1 Mar 1998 - 31 Aug 1998, I worked as an Analyst Programmer at Hong Hong Information Technology & Systems Sdn Bhd. I was responsible to create projects in various programming languages such as PowerBuilder 5.0 and HTML. I was involved in an e-billing project involving the usage of PowerBuilder 5.0 to create an accounting engine for the company’s e-billing purposes.

From 1 Sep 1998 - 28 Feb 1999, I worked as a Shipping Clerk at B.Braun Medical Industries Sdn. Bhd. My job responsibilities were to prepare and generate documents, book the shipping agents, distribute a copy of the shipping documents to the relevant parties concerned.

Most of my working experience from 1 Mar 1999 - 30 Jun 2021 (22 years 4 months) was with the Banking & Finance sector. During my tenure with the bank, I worked for 3 banks. The first was Ban Hin Lee Bank Berhad (1 Mar 1999 - 30 June 1999), Southern Bank Berhad (I July 1999 - Nov 2006) and CIMB Bank Berhad (Nov 2006 - Jun 2021). I worked in many of the bank's department such as the Credit Administration Department (Mortgage/Home Loans), Trade Finance Service Center, Trade Processing Center, Branch Banking Operations, Branch Operations Support (Group Market Operations), Financial Accounting Reporting, Management Accounting Reporting and Internal (for internal Management use only) and External (for Bank Negara Malaysia) Statics Reporting. The statistics reporting for BNM has many types which need to be prepared namely: Statistical Reporting for Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Fortnightly, Quarterly, Half yearly and Yearly respectively. 

From 13 Jan 2022 - 26 January 2022, I worked as HR cum Payroll Executive at Resonet Sdn. Bhd. My job responsibilities were: 

1. To assist both the HR Administrator and the Hiring Manager according to the HR Recruitment’s SOP Process where I need to perform candidate filtration, arrange interview, perform interview according to the company’s interview session steps for the All Admin Position, Human Resource/Admin, Internship and/or Product Testing/Graphic Designer position(s), conduct the after interview process by filtering the selected candidates according to the criteria(s) given by the company, select the candidate for hiring and email the details of the candidate to the Hiring Manager of the company. After the final candidate filtration, to follow-up the candidate’s testresults to the Hiring Manager.and await for his/her further instructions.

2. To assist the Accounts Department to check and label proof the company’s outsource report checking before submitting it up for them to calculate and compile the company’s outsource provider’s claims for their fees and charges for services rendered to the company. I also helped to check and perform label proofing of the Cashout Report as per the company’s SOP for Cashout Report to assist the Accounts Department to verify all claims made by the company’s various service providers as well as individual creditors such as GooglePlay, PayPal, Payoneer, Top Up, Skrill, and the individual creditor’s bank statements (for claims made by individual’s who’ve completed tasks and won rewards & cash prizes on the company’s application called “DooCash”).

From 1 Apr 2022 - 17 Jan 2023, I worked as Administrative Executive at K.B. Loh Sdn. Bhd. My job responsibilities were: To carry out all administrative work concerning the parking business of the company for 3 sites namely Prima Tanjung, City Junction and Menara BHL. To issue receipt upon collecting monthly parking fees and charges from monthly season parking cardholders at Prima Tanjung site as well as to ensure the accounts at my side are updated accordingly to reflect the monthly payments and top-up deposit collected from all 75 monthly season cardholders are banked in, including those cardholders who paid online are recorded and updated into the daily collection file and accounts accordingly. For Prima Tanjung and City Junction, to ensure manual collections from casual parkers are collected, banked in and accounted for the in the accounts.

For Menara BHL, I will have to ensure the amount on the receipts issued for collections tally with the amount transferred by a total number of 178 season cardholders currently actively in use at Menara BHL. My other duties include maintaining and submission of petty cash report every month end to our Financial Controller in Accounts Department at e-Gate, Penang, ensuring the cleaner’s allowance are paid by the 13th of every month, to call the water supplier to top up our water for drinking when it reaches the reorder level, to see to the operational needs of Casual and Season parkers on a needs basis especially when they are stuck and unable to go in/out of our Prima Tanjung car park basement by calling and bringing up the issue to our Parking Attendant so that they will come to the person’s aid quickly resolve their complaint of e.g. being unable to get in/out because their credit/debit/Touch n Go card is not responding to the cashless tap at the exit/entrance station. Other duties that are on an as and when basis include providing CCTV recording and system viewing on case needs basis and to maintain and distribute cards to our 6 other site’s Administrative person in charge upon their request for new cards.

CPA Program under CPA Australia

Course Objective:

The CPA Program is an internationally recognised & highly respected professional gateway to attain the CPA status.

Nowadays, to complete the CPA Program, you'll need to complete six subjects: four compulsory and two elective subjects. A subject is delivered over a single semester - or half a year - with an exam at the end.

I took the CPA Program from Feb 2000 - Nov 2004. Back then only need to complete 5 subjects: four compulsory and one elective subject. I took the following subjects:

Understanding Computers from Pitman Examinations Institute
