Description

Application Developer Responsibility:

• Manage the project plans and documentation, and execution of implementation to enable the project to be implemented towards a clear set of defined deliverables and milestones.
• Review codes, web designs, algorithms and data structures of Smart Selangor products and able to provide feedback for necessary improvement or modifications.
• Provide regular updates to team lead and management on the progress of solutions development.
• Work closely with the project team (external & internal) throughout the development and delivery of solutions to ensure successful implementation, providing input and business requirements.
• Work closely with project team members (including cross-functional team members - when needed) to ensure business-as-usual and achieve agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPI) and/or Service Level Agreement (SLA).
• Keep abreast of market development to gain knowledge and understanding of relevant domains and industries to maintain the competitiveness of Smart Selangor products either through formal training or on-the-job training or desktop research or seminar.

Application Developer Requirement:

• Minimum Diploma in Software Engineering or Software Application Development or Computer Science or Information Technology or equivalent is required.

Diploma Holder:
Minimum of 3 years of combined working experience in project implementation and operations.

Degree Holder and above:
Minimum of 2 years of combined working experience in project implementation and operations.

• Knowledgeable in the software development life cycle.
• Knowledgeable in project methodology such as Agile.
• Proficiency in cloud-native technologies, common databases such as MS SQL and MySQL, and any three of common programming languages such as Java, Java Script, C#, C++, PHP, Python, HTML5, CSS.
• Proficiency to identifying areas for modification in existing programs for necessary modifications.
• Proficiency to write and test codes; and developing responsive web designs.
• Knowledgeable in reviewing algorithms and data structures.
• Should be analytical, strong problem solvers, able to troubleshoot, and be good communicators.
