QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Experience on commissioning of Combined Cycle Power Projects is desirable but not a pre-requisite for the position.

Experience with PLC programming for Water Treatment Plant, HRSG Duct Burner Management, ConƟnuous Emissions Monitoring would be advantageous.
Must be familiar with all test equipment and methods necessary to calibrate and loop check instrumentaƟon.
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings.
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and instrument systems.
Proficient in troubleshooting and problemsolving techniques.
Knowledge of safety guidelines and regulations.

DUTIES

Perform precommissioning checks and inspections to ensure that equipment and systems are properly installed and meet design specifications.
Conduct functional tests and measurements on equipment to verify their performance and functionality.
Identify and troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions that arise during the commissioning process.
Complete precommissioning documentation, including calibration test reports and commissioning dry loop and wet loop test records.
Coordinate with vendors to ensure vendor instruments are set and operate per design and coordinate with the DCS controls engineer loop checkout from vendor equipment.
Read & understand the project specification with regards to instrumentation and ensure installation complies with the technical specification and report any errors to the Lead I & C Commissioning Engineer.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout the commissioning process.
Participate in commissioning meetings and provide regular progress updates to the Lead I & C Eng or Commissioning Manager.

Salary:
RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
