Responsibilities:


  • Communicate with customers and providers concerning incoming incidents and log all findings;
  • Perform 1st level basic troubleshooting on reported incidents;
  • Log incidents in the ticketing system
  • Ensure our customers are informed of planned works scheduled by our providers;
  • Manage the customer relation by means of proactive communication throughout the Service Desk life cycle of the incidents so that the client experiences the incident as fully and adequately resolved.

Job Requirements:


  • At least a Diploma in IT/ Computer Science/ Networking with 1 year relevant work experience;
  • Access networking technologies (xDSL, Leased Line, wireless, satellite)
  • Routers / firewalls (primarily Cisco)
  • VPN solutions (public based on IPSEC/SSL or private based on MPLS)
  • SD-WAN is a plus
  • Network management systems / tools
  • Must be able to professionally converse in Mandarin language since this role will be required to support our client based in Hong Kong, Macau & Taiwan
  • Ability to speak Cantonese & Hakka will be a plus point
  • English proficiency is a must; any other extra language is a plus;
  • Analytical & communicatively strong;
  • Must be willing to work in 24/7 shift rotation pattern (5 days' work week, 8 hours per shift)

Salary:
RM3, RM4,000.00 per month
