Description
Project Planning and Preparation:
- Review project plans, blueprints, and specifications to understand the scope of work.
- Determine the optimal placement of solar panels, considering factors like available sunlight, structural integrity, and electrical requirements.
- Assess the site for potential obstructions or hazards that may affect the installation process.
Equipment Installation:
- Mount solar panels on rooftops or groundmounted structures, following established guidelines and safety protocols.
- Install racking systems, brackets, and other hardware to secure the panels in place.
- Connect solar panels to electrical wiring, ensuring proper grounding and adherence to electrical codes.
- Install inverters, charge controllers, batteries, and other necessary equipment for system operation.
Electrical and Wiring Connections:
- Wire solar panels in series or parallel configurations, depending on the system design.
- Connect solar panels to the main electrical system of the building or grid connection point.
- Install and connect meters, monitoring devices, and other electrical components as required.
- Conduct electrical tests and inspections to ensure proper functionality and safety.
System Commissioning and Testing:
- Perform system checks and inspections to verify proper installation and functioning.
- Test and troubleshoot the solar energy system to identify and resolve any issues or malfunctions.
- Ensure that all electrical connections and components comply with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Conduct performance tests and measurements to validate system efficiency and output.
Documentation and Maintenance:
- Complete installation and inspection reports, documenting system specifications, configurations, and any relevant findings.
- Provide maintenance and repair services for installed solar systems, including panel cleaning, wiring checks, and component replacements.
- Educate customers on system operation, maintenance requirements, and potential energy savings.
- Stay updated with industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies related to solar installation.
Salary:
RM1, RM2,300.00 per month
