Description

Objective
Specialized role to support the end-to-end function of the booking's movement and network operations.

This will allow a more manageable control and better work efficiency will incorporate all the KUL network flight inbound, outbound booking, as well as airline communications.

This is with the intention to improve the communication and negotiation with airline and ensure we obtain better control on our cargo movement status.


Responsibilities will include defining project tasks, developing and managing full scale project plans including changes to achieve project objectives, planning and scheduling project timelines, tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools, providing direction and supporting project team and coordinating efforts to resolve issues.


Network Planer (Inbound & Outbound)

  • Airline booking and planning of cargo movement
  • Optimization of each flight movement and flight status
  • Monitor airline rates
  • Trucking movement for domestic flights / Trucking movement from KUL-KLIA/KLIA-KUL
  • Daily tonnage cargo movement report with uplift status
  • Inbound arrival cargo clearance status
  • KPI improvement

Responsibilities for the role:


  • Responsible for directing, coordinating, planning, and overseeing tasks and operations involving air and trucking transportation activities
  • Fulfilling the set quality goal/ requirements
  • Working closely with other departments such as Ground Operations, Gateway, Sales, HR to resolve any service failures
  • Planning and tracking the cargo movement to final destination
  • Network Planer will be the expert responsible for managing shipments in a warehouse
  • Network Planer will make sure orders are delivered in a timely manner by identifying carriers booking
  • To keep track of exported cargo and inbound cargo to ensure departure as per each scheduled flight

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in operations analysis or similar fields.
