JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To set up and lead overall operations of chemical process plant.
  • To manage and develop company workforce and operations team.
  • To oversee EHS procedures, regulations, continuous improvements
  • Involved with Authority management including EIA creation and update, DOE, eDOSH etc.
  • To ensure maintenance of chemical plants and processes involving hazardous materials as well as achieving desired OEE.
  • In charge of controlling and optimizing operational expenses
  • To plan and implement Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • To develop and maintain the integrated management systems regarding DIN, ISO & OSHAS certifications.
  • In charge of Plant Engineering (I.e. PFD, P&ID), Production Planning and Continuous Optimization etc.
  • To establish performance boards and KPI systems to evaluate staff performances.
  • To liaise with relevant local Govt Authorities — MIDA, MITI, DOSH, DOE, MBPG, Johor Land, Invest Johor, TNB, Syabas pertaining to plant establishment.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Possesses Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • Have at least 8 years of experience in
    Operation / Site Management role for
    Chemical Processing Plant.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Capable in liaising with Government bodies, Local authorities, Contractors etc.
  • Willing to be based in Pasir Gudang, Johor.

Salary:
RM10, RM15,000.00 per month
