Plant Technician

Salary:
$2,500 to $3,500 (RM8500- RM11900)


Location:
Jurong

*Mandarin Speaking is a must


Working Hours:
Mon - Fri

Morning Shift

  • 07:15 to 15:00 (if got OT, end 17:30)
  • 08:15 to 17:30
Night Shift

  • 15:15 to 23:00 ($22 per day Shift Allowance)
(if got OT, start 12:00 to 15:15)


Transportation:


  • At 07:55, Lakeside MRT station to the Office
  • At 17:30, the office to Lakeside MRT station.
  • Currently no company bus for shift ending 23:00


  • Filling lines

  • Drum, small park and pail operations.
  • Wrapping palletizing operations.
  • Digitization projects
  • Responsible in setting up filling and quality checking equipment currently deployed for batch filling and to perform basic diagnostic of equipment to ensure efficient operation.
  • Assist Manager in charge to implement digitization project identified in filling line operations.
  • Adhere to safety in accordance to documented procedures and work instructions.
  • Carrying out operations according to documented procedures and operating all plant equipment and facilities safely to meet production and quality targets in an environmentally responsible manner.
  • Monitoring the process and making process decisions based on sound operating practices.
  • Preparing equipment and facilities for handing over to maintenance and taking over from maintenance after its completion of maintenance work per Risk Assessment done.
  • Carrying out first line equipment setting, maintenance repairs in order to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Carrying out housekeeping & 5S at high standard.
  • Assisting the Operations Foreman in carrying out one of the following assignments:
  • Drumming or Pail filling or Small Packs filling operations under packaging Foreman or Manager in charge.
  • Setting up the packaging line according to the Packaging Order (PKO)
  • Setting up in line quality checking equipment and perform basic diagnostic to ensure proper functioning of checking equipment (eg Vision camera system). Communicate with supplier any remote maintenance or setting requirement.
  • Sampling for final inspection by the laboratory.
  • Filling to the specified volume
  • Stencilling markings as specified in the PKO
  • Wrapping Palletizing operations
  • Familiar with operating functions on control panel of wrapping palletizing equipment for any setting adjustments.
  • Perform diagnostic checking as required by communicating with supplier remotely to minimise downtime.
  • To improve reliability of wrapping machine and feedback to supplier on any improvements on preventative maintenance.
  • Any other adhoc duties assigned.

Requirements:


  • Excellent communication skills
  • 1 yeasr relevant experience in liquid production industry (Prefferd Chemical oil)
  • Able to work in nonair condition environment
  • Report Line: Operations Foreman or Supervisor in charge
  • Interviewer: 1 round (Operation manager), No test
  • Probation: 3 months
  • Higher NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical or electronic engineering
  • Nationality: SG / PR preferred, open for WP
  • Gender: Male
  • Language: simple English, Chinese

Allowance

  • Night shift allowance: $22 allowance

  • Dental allowance: $150 per year
  • Medical insurance: $230 (reimbursement)

Bonus

  • AWS and VB

Salary:
RM8, RM11,900.00 per month
