We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Business Manager Finance, Asia Pacific (ASP) Finance.

This regional role is based in Malaysia.


What you'll do:


Principal responsibilities:

  • Support the business management and administrative activities of ASP Finance.
  • Responsible for regional control and compliance activities such as Outsourcing Register, Third Party Risk and Control Management, End User Computing register, Service Management and Business Continuity Planning etc.
  • Support the headcount and cost management (including recharge) of ASP Finance. To collate and maintain cost and headcount information for forecasting, validate data for reports and dashboards.
  • People and communications. To support the delivery of regional communication, People Led Strategies, and staff engagement activities.
  • Handle monthly internal cost recharge, accrual and prepayment of income related matters
  • Support onshore team on Management Information (MI) preparation and follow up action.
  • Assist new and ad hoc projects and digital initiatives (e.g. business intelligence (BI) platform)
  • Assist organization of special events including but not limited to townhall, exchange meetings, festive and annual events.
Requirements


What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • Graduate qualification in a numerate discipline.
  • Proficiency in QlikSense and SharePoint platformspecific tools.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) with a proven ability to communicate effectively and confidently at all levels across the Group.
  • Strong problemsolving skills and able to work independently.
  • Attention to detail and timely delivery. Able to work under pressure to deliver own work within timelines and to prioritise competing demands.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholder issues in a matrix organizational context.
  • Flexibility of approach, together with a 'cando' attitude.
  • Team player and people motivator with proven track record of working with diverse, cross functional teams regionally and globally.
  • Energetic, results focused, change agent, with a strong work ethic.

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Knowledge in Python, Power BI will be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of banking products is an advantage.
  • An appreciation of Financial Services industry internal and external reporting processes.
