Job Description:

We are seeking a driven and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our reputable trading firm in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding our market presence and managing strategic sales initiatives, particularly within the plastics and automotive industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the primary contact for key clients and partners.

Strengthen relationships with existing and potential suppliers and customers.

Promote raw materials to automotive clients in local and international markets.

Develop and implement sales strategies to grow the customer base and revenue.

Take ownership of business projects with a focus on profitability and cost control.

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and supply chain processes.

Conduct market and industry analysis to support customer business development.

Collaborate with global counterparts for cross-border coordination and client servicing.

Prepare and present regular reports and annual sales plans.

Ensure compliance with legal and company policies related to supply chain operations.

Handle any ad hoc tasks assigned by superiors or management.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, International Business, Supply Chain, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of experience in sales or trading, preferably in the plastics or automotive sectors.

Proven success in sales growth, market expansion, and project management.

Strong business acumen and analytical skills.

Experience in the Electrical & Electronics, Automotive, or raw material trading sectors.

Skilled in negotiation, contract management, and delivering customer value.

Self-motivated, organised, and results-oriented with a positive mindset.

Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across functions.

Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu; proficiency in Mandarin or Japanese is an added advantage.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
