    Financial Consultant

    Achieve Sales Excellence and Build Strong Client Relationships.

    • Deliver personalized financial consultation and advice to clients, aligning with their goals and needs.
    • Promote wealth solutions focusing on insurance, investments, and deposit products to retail clients.
    • Increase client product holdings through cross-selling other financial solutions like financing and credit cards.
    • Maintain and develop strong relationships with Privilege and Emerging Affluent clients, effectively managing customer portfolios in retail wealth sales and advisory.
    • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics, contributing to the branch's overall performance and sales revenue.
    • Adhere to regulatory and Bank standards and practices.
    • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge.
    • Act promptly on leads and maintain proactive follow-ups to maximize conversion rates.
    • Provide exceptional after-sales service to maintain customer loyalty.
    • Engage in sales launches and conduct data mining to identify potential customers and generate new business opportunities.

    Requirements:

    • Fresh graduates with a strong interest in financial and sales advisory are encouraged to apply.
    • A good understanding of banking, investment, deposits, and insurance products is essential.
    • Knowledge in Financial Planning/Wealth Management or Retail Banking/Branch Operation is advantageous.
    • Candidates must be enthusiastic about building a career in sales.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia are required.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers are necessary.
    • Candidates should be capable of delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
    • Candidates with full banking licenses will have an advantage.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Sales and Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue sales opportunities to meet or exceed sales targets.
    • Promote and sell Maybank's wealth solutions, including insurance, investments, and deposit products.

    Client Relationship Management:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Privilege and Emerging Affluent clients.
    • Effectively manage customer portfolios in retail wealth sales and advisory.

    Compliance and Regulatory:

    • Adhere to regulatory and Bank standards and practices.
    • Stay updated with industry trends and product knowledge through ongoing training and professional development.

    Performance Metrics and Reporting:

    • Meet or exceed sales targets and performance metrics.
    • Contribute to the branch's overall performance and sales revenue.
