    Safety and Compliance Officer Role

    This role is responsible for ensuring organizational safety regulations compliance under DOSH, CAAM, DOA, and DOE. The Safety and Compliance Officer develops, implements, and continuously monitors safety programs, coordinates with regulatory authorities, and conducts audits to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Regulatory Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations set by DOSH, CAAM, DOA, and DOE.
    • Implement policies and monitor adherence to these regulations.
    • Coordinate with regulatory authorities for inspections, audits, and certifications.

    2. Safety Program Development & Management:

    • Develop, implement, and regularly evaluate safety programs aligning with DOSH, CAAM, DOA, and DOE standards.
    • Propose improvements to safety policies and processes based on audit findings, risk assessments, and regulatory changes.

    3.Audits and Risk Assessments:

    • Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure safety regulation compliance.
    • Identify non-compliance areas and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
    • Update risk management plans and ensure proactive measures are in place.

    4.Incident Investigation & Reporting:

    • Oversee and coordinate safety incident, accident, and near-miss investigations.
    • Document and report investigation findings to DOSH, CAAM, DOA, DOE, and other authorities as required.
    • Implement corrective actions to prevent incident recurrence and promote a safe working environment.

    5.Continuous Improvement:

    • Actively review and improve safety practices and policies for enhanced safety management.
    • Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry best practices, adjusting policies and procedures accordingly.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Aviation Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field.
    • Experience in aviation operations, safety compliance, or risk management.
    • Knowledge of DOSH and CAAM safety regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination.
    • Ability to conduct safety audits, risk assessments, and investigations with attention to detail.
    • Certification in Safety Management (e.g., OSHA) is advantageous.
