  • Responsibilities:

Summary:


  • The Scheduler provides project administration support and services to the Delivery teams.
  • Primary responsibilities include developing project resourceloaded schedules, updating schedules, reporting and communicating project/portfolio schedule and resource statuses.
  • The Project Scheduler/Planner gathers and analyzes information to prepare reports on the progress of projects.
  • Project Scheduler/Planner also recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.
  • Require to work with various teams.

Job Description:


  • Planning & Scheduling: Shall be responsible for all functions relating to planning, scheduling and reporting.
  • Provide all necessary schedules to ensure the development of proper estimates and cost forecasts within a project stage.
  • It must reflect the Milestone Dates rand shall use a \"Critical Path Method\" (hereinafter referred to as CPM) technique in preparing his Programme.
  • Shall be able to use the latest version of Primavera Project Planner( v6) and must also be able to be proficient in MS Projects.
  • Must be able to prepare network diagram and/or an analysis of the predecessor/successor relationships to explain and support the programme bar chart.
  • Maintains overall, integrated schedule during the construction; incorporating and monitoring progress and schedules.
  • Analyzes the scheduling plans and schedule updates for comparison to reported progress and alignment of other project controls discipline forecasts.
  • Provides recommendations on cycle time reduction opportunities and techniques as related to other functional scheduling.
  • Analyzes contractor daily/weekly/monthly progress reports to ensure accuracy and provide proper input into overall project reporting.
  • Ensures project schedules are properly resource loaded.
  • These activities shall be included within the milestone activities provided.
  • The programme must be done based on the Main contractors Master program and also be updated with revised baselines as and when submitted by Maincon to us.
  • Must be able to compare previous baselines to revised ones to depict slippages and catch up plans.
  • Must always exercise care to produce a clear, legible, and accurate diagram. Activities related to specific areas of the Project shall be grouped on the diagram for ease, understanding, and simplification.
The diagram shall show the following for each activity, where applicable:


  • Concise description of the work
  • Planned start date (Early and Late)
  • Planned finish date (Early and Late)
  • Duration in calendar days
  • Number of working days
  • Float
  • Consider the physical and technical interdependence between the activities, which may either be a part of the works.
  • Indicate the time when information is required for activities to commence or progress as planned.
  • Allow for sufficient contingency to mitigate the delays which may arise due to problems associated with shipment, clearance etc.
  • Finally, perform other associated duties as assigned.
