Description

You will be responsible for overseeing Ipoh Eye Admin and Finance Department's daily operations and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of five entities.

You will also be the main contact for any matters related to admin/accounting for all internal and external parties.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial reports for headquarter's review of monthly financial results, annual budget and other financial analyses as required by headquarter.
  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the Finance Department, including monthend and yearend period closing, inventories control, account payables and receivables and general ledger.
  • Follow up and recover long outstanding debts
  • Organize the maintenance of accounting records, including general ledgers, inventory, and fixed assets, operating expenses
  • Assist in corporate finance matters, budgets, cash flow projections, financial analysis, and evaluation of performance.
  • Design, set up and monitor internal control flow for admin/finance department to fulfill HQ internal control SOP.
  • Performance tax planning, computation, and deal with tax agents for all tax matters
  • Responsible for management of treasury and credit functions as well as ensuring sufficient liquidity for operational needs and timely settlement of liabilities due.
  • Ensure compliance with all MFRS and relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure the company's compliance with relevant labour laws, regulations and policies
  • Liaison with internal and external auditors on interim and yearend statutory audits and other adhoc exercises.
  • Liaise with company secretary, bankers, lawyers, other external consultants and government authorities.
  • Prepare payroll and Doctors' fee computation.
  • Recruiting and training of admin/finance staff.

Requirements:


  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent, with a professional Qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/CIMA) would have added advantage.
  • At least five years of working experience in a similar field, with two years of experience in a leadership role. (Experience in audit and/or taxation would have added advantage).
  • Strong Accounting knowledge and knowledge of MFRS and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Confident and good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Selfresilient and able to work in a fastpaced and aggressive environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and presentation skills, highly motivated and results oriented.
  • Leadership skill.
