Construction Site Manager - Batu Kawan, Malaysia - Yoong Tsen Construction Sdn Bhd
Description
Job Resposibilities:
- Oversee total contruction effort to e nsure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget and schedule. This entails spending a significant portion of the day in the field, monitoring and working with the contractors, their supervisors and workers to ensure the works are proceeding according to plan.
- Work with the Project Manager on logistics planning, workflow sequencing, schedule, coordiantion quality plans, safety monitoring & assists in presenting these to the subcontractors in order to help make them more efficient and safe.
- Ensure all company, client and project policies, procedures, standards, etc are adhered to and interpret policies are required.
- Issuing & maintaining official project daily log, works tracking files and assisting with preparation of the weekly/monthly reports tot he client.
- Assist with implementation/interpretion of safety programs. Always be aware of safety on the project site, enforcing safety requirements and working with subcontrators/workers to improve their safety measures to liaise well with site safety personnel.
- Perform quality control checking task.
Requirements:
- Requires at least SPM or above & minimum 5 years of building construction experience.
- Knowledge of construction cost, scheduling, estimating and engineering principals & techniques.
- Preferably managerial level specializing in site supervision and engineering
- Civil/Structural.
- Knowledge of various construction methods and amterials, their characteristcs, installation procedures & tolerance.
- Computer skills & familiar with Microsoft Office programs, Microsoft Project & Autocad.
- Strong English oral & written communication skills are required.
