Description

Under the direction of the General Manager & Director of Engineering, plans, organizes, and provides supervision and oversight for daily maintenance operations and activities in the Hotel.

Supervises and evaluates the work of both maintenance employees and vendors / contractors; coordinates department activities with those of other departments; inspects and troubleshoots maintenance work; performs the work of maintenance employees and other duties as required.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Actively participate in discussions to resolve issues related to Engineering.
Lead and drive the effective implementation of required Engineering services in the Hotel.
Maintain all hotel guest facilities to ensure the delivery of a high level of comfort and safety for the guests and staff.
Ensure that all requirements of the Engineering Services Manual are properly complied with.
Ensure that all local building, fire, and authority regulations, including relevant standards, codes of practice, and insurance requirements, are enforced and observed.
Work closely with other Hotel EXCO members and management staff to foster the spirit of teamwork.
Manage: MEP equipment and system operation, Preventive Maintenance Program, Energy & Utilities Management, Budgeting / Capex, Asset Management, Maintenance Contract, External Liaison, Inventory / Spare Parts Control.
