Responsibilities:
Failure Analysis technician (FAT) is responsible for the offer failure management process.

In this position, you will be responsible for:

Following RFA plan from Customer advocate (located in SEMV plant) to receive returned product from Sale/DC/FO/Customer monthly.
Performing visual inspection for outside damage and checking production codes.
Conducting function checks: ON/OFF check and continuity check.
Conducting assembly check: opening the product properly and checking each component for any deviation, burnt, damage, disconnection.
Performing basic measurements with caliper, gauge, force check.
Receiving weekly guidance from Customer Advocate engineer and product engineer for deeper check.
Reporting.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

Monitoring the customer returns which include creating the request for analysis (RFA) ticket, tracking the returns and updating the progress on BFO (Bridge Front Office) system.
Performing first level analysis of returned products such as failure symptom verification, function testing to isolate the failing instruction/failing signal and physical analysis to locate the defect.
Making the failure analysis report and Weekly meeting with customer advocate engineer for the failure analysis review and discussion for the next step analysis.
Being the point of contact to the counterparts with related department in the company along with customer advocate for rootcause fixed.
Further supports such as packing and arranging FOC shipment to factory in case requested by Customer advocate for further analysis needed.
