Description:
Job Summary
Lead DKSH's end-to-end eCommerce operations in Malaysia to drive profitable expansion of the online business for our clients and customers.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute MY ECOM growth strategy:
- Work closely with the Regional e-commerce Director and MY market leader to accelerate DKSH's e-commerce business.
- Develop sustainable strategies to grow each brand/client business across channels and customers.
- Drive business development by developing new revenue streams and supporting the organization to acquire new brands/clients.
Results and KPI-driven leadership:
- Accountable for eCommerce business KPIs including GMV, net sales, traffic, conversion, and AOV.
- Accountable for bottomline KPIs including Accounts Receivable, Claims receivable, EBIT margin, and inventory levels.
- Conduct business reviews with clients and customers to share insights and actionable recommendations for growth.
Effective and collaborative team leader:
- Experience managing a team of operations and key account managers to deliver upon targets and objectives.
- Empower team with skills and expertise needed for eCommerce success through playbook development, training, and best practice sharing.
- Work closely with crossfunctional partners in finance, HR, client management, and modern trade.
- Collaborate with peers across the region to share and implement best practices.
- Has omnichannel experience and would guide the development of omnichannel practices internally.
Key Account Leadership:
- Lead key account relationships with eCommerce retailers, particularly Lazada, Shopee, and Foodpanda.
- Engage in annual joint business planning and negotiate campaign and promotional calendars.
- Omnichannel experience working with modern trade online retailers such as Lotus preferred.
Drive operational excellence:
- Work with local teams to forecast revenue, establish budgets, and set targets.
- Manage forecasting and inventory levels in collaboration with clients, client managers, and customers.
- Oversee reporting and automation initiatives.
- Ownership of A&P management, AR, and trade claims recovery from clients within contracted terms.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or professional qualification in a related discipline.
- Highly motivated individual with 810 years of experience, of which 68 years of eCommercespecific experience in building and driving eCommerce businesses, at least 45 years in a manager role.
- Preferably from FMCG, Eenabler, or Platform background.
- Strong Commercial Acumen: Possess strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent Communicator: Authentic and straightforward with strong negotiation skills.
- Strong collaboration skills: Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders including clients, customers, and crossfunctional teams.
- Able to operate in a fastpaced and changing market environment.
- Entrepreneurial: selfdriven and act with a pioneering spirit.
