Production Technician at Kulai

Requirements:


  • Experience working in production preferably sheet metal (bending, welding, laser cutting, powder coating)
  • Diploma in Mechanical / Industrial Engineering or equivalent
  • Read and understand all specifications required based on drawings.
  • Problemsolving skills to solve issues and rework defects
  • Teamwork and communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Adherence to health and safety regulations

Responsibilities:


  • Ensure smooth operations, good quality output and timely delivery according to schedule.
  • Maintain proper documentation work order, manufacturing traveller records, discussions, revisions and meetings.
  • Ensuring the required materials are available for production.
  • Inspecting and testing products during production and final product.
  • Keep track of preventative maintenance records for machines.
  • Inspecting machinery and reporting any faults to management.
  • Liaise with relevant department team members for completion of tasks.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to operators to support production flow.
  • Measure, adjust and record end results of work using inspection equipment as required.
  • Enforce safe working practise and proper PPE utilisation.
  • Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports to management.
  • May perform other duties as assigned by management.
