We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tourism Planner to join our team as we expand our cultural tourism destination.

As the Tourism Planner, your primary responsibility will be to seek partnerships with travel companies and coordinate regular visits by tourist buses to our scenic location.

In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing travel partners and managing our social media platforms.


Responsibilities:


  • Identify and establish partnerships with travel companies to arrange scheduled visits by tourist buses to our cultural tourism destination.
  • Collaborate with travel companies to develop attractive tour packages that showcase the unique cultural offerings of our scenic location.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing travel partners, ensuring regular communication and addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Actively promote our cultural tourism destination through various marketing channels, including social media platforms, to attract a wider audience.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify opportunities for business growth.
  • Prepare reports and provide recommendations to management regarding market strategies, potential partnerships, and revenue enhancement initiatives.

Job Requirements:


  • Previous experience in the tourism industry and salesrelated roles is essential.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English & 中文 is required to effectively communicate with diverse partners and customers.
  • Strong computer skills, including familiarity with popular social media platforms and the ability to navigate online systems and databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills to establish and maintain relationships with travel companies, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • A passion for cultural tourism and a keen interest in promoting local heritage and attractions.
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends or evenings, as required, to accommodate partner and customer needs.
  • Two days off per week.
  • Working location in Putuo Village, Kulai, Johor.
Expected Start Date: 02/01/2024


Salary:
RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
