JOB DESCRIPTION_
- Perform all radiology examinations and procedures in accordance with the standards and policies.
- Process films and monitor records of films taken.
- Ensures the safety of all personnel and staff in the operation of all equipment by careful adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure the mobile unit is established and moved from each site in a safe, secure, and efficient manner, and maintain the mobile unit in a neat and tidy manner.
- Ensure that all patients and results of xray films are correctly identified and labeled with appropriate markers.
- Participate in shift and standby duties including nights, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
- Participate in Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement programs (if any).
- Liaise with the Senior Radiographer/Imaging Manager as appropriate regarding equipment faults, stock shortages, and any other condition that affects the smooth running of the radiology department.
- Responsible for maintaining infection control and a clean and tidy workplace, especially the xray rooms.
- All work practices must comply with Infection Control Procedures.
- Participate in Infection Control updates on an annual basis.
- Give factual information to patients and clients on Radiography.
- Assist reception in clerical duties as required by Imaging ( multitasking ).
- Participate in the establishment and review of MRI safety protocols and education programs for all health professionals and patients.
- Follow the employer's reasonable instructions concerning health and safety in the workplace.
- Attend regular staff meetings and participate in decisionmaking relevant to the whole department.
- Shall attend Medical Check whenever requested by
Lembaga Perlesenan Tenaga Atom: - Participate in education programs.
- Participate in the CME program for
Lembaga Perlesenan Tenaga Atom
- Perform other duties as directed by the Imaging Manager to ensure effective and efficient services is maintained.
JOB REQUIREMENTS_
- Possess Degree/Diploma in Radiography or Medical Imaging.
- Skilled in performing MRI and orthopaedic Xrays.
- At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in a related field.
- Fresh graduates who have completed and obtained their certificates are encouraged to apply.
- Perform all radiology examinations and procedures in accordance with the standards and policies.
- Participate in the establishment and review of MRI and Radiation Safety protocols and education programs for all health professionals and patients.
- Liaise with the Senior Radiographer/Imaging Manager as appropriate to ensure the smooth running of the Imaging Department.
