About the job:


  • The Solution Architect will primarily be responsible in supporting the business/ product/project team to lead in the solution architecture design and implementation of the target business solutions aligned to the group solution architecture blueprint (where applicable).

Solution architecture support includes (not limited to):

  • Lead definition of technical solution requirements mapped to business requirements
  • Lead definition of technical solution components and related specifications mapped to target operating requirements of the client
  • Definition of procedures and processes to ensure solution delivery.
  • Interaction with the project team* and related stakeholders to socialize and finalize the technical design
  • Interaction with the project team* to guide software/technical development of the solution and to support business partners (where needed) until the technical operations support team is selfsufficient
  • Interaction with the project team* to guide testing and acceptance of the solution
  • Create technical architecture documentation and work with the QA lead to define the test strategy
  • Lead DevOps to define and implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure that implementations meet nonfunctional requirements
  • Dedicate yourself to security, deployment, performance, caching, sizing, scalability and serviceability

About you:


  • Your knowledge of the Java platform exceeds our expectations
  • You have experience with Spring, Maven and Jenkins
  • You have a demonstrable understanding of Service Oriented Architectures (SOA), as well as Micro-Services Architecture
  • You know JavaScript frameworks, MVC patterns and principles of REST APIs, ideally including RAML and/or OpenAPI, are second nature to you
  • When we ask you about architectural frameworks, you easily dig up your knowledge and best practices
  • You have professionally worked with Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks
  • You have excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • You have created solutions for financial services (especially banking)
  • You have experience with Portal/Web Content Management
  • You are familiar with architectural patterns, such as Microservices, CQRS, event sourcing
  • You have experience with server virtualization and containers technology such as Docker, VMWare, HyperV
  • You have professionally used Integration Platforms, API Gateway, etc.
