We are looking for a talented and experienced Dessert & Pastry Pâtissier Chef to join our team.
The Dessert & Pastry Pâtissier Chef will be responsible for creating and executing a variety of delectable desserts and pastries that will satisfy our customers' cravings.
This role requires a strong passion for pastry-making, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Create and prepare a wide range of desserts, pastries, and sweet treats with artistic flair and precision.
- Develop and execute dessert and pastry recipes, considering flavor profiles, texture, and presentation.
- Decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and other confections with finesse, paying attention to detail and aesthetics.
- Stay uptodate with current dessert and pastry trends and techniques, incorporating them into the menu.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure efficient production and timely delivery of desserts and pastries.
- Maintain inventory of dessert ingredients, tools, and equipment, and place orders as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards throughout the dessert preparation process.
- Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in menu development, including suggesting new dessert offerings and seasonal specialties.
- Maintain a clean and organized dessert and pastry section, following proper storage and labeling procedures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dessert & Pastry Pâtissier Chef or similar role, preferably in a highend or fine dining establishment.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification in pastry arts is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dessert and pastry techniques, ingredients, and flavor combinations.
- Proficiency in creating visually appealing and innovative dessert presentations.
- Excellent time management skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional desserts and pastries.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the culinary team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

RM3, RM5,500.00 per month
