ROLE SUMMARY

What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?
The
PBM Directs - APMEA is responsible for the deployment of the global category strategies for Directs Materials (FMC and THP) in APMEA, drive the directs productivity and ESG agendas in the region, specifically:

DIRECTS

Implement global sourcing strategies in the region.(qualification of material and suppliers, tender results implementation)
Spend and compliance reporting in the region
Commercial risk management
Contract Management
Supplier Relationship Management
Business contingency Plans
Develop and execute localization strategies for directs materials (FMC, THP and NC)
Drive supplier loss elimination initiatives in APMEA
Regional link with the global category team for ESG strategy development and execution for directs suppliers
Develop and maintain Pipeline of WMS productivity initiatives
Drive international trade program in the region
End market and industry peer network build

SUSTAINABILITY

Regional coordination of sourcing strategy relative to sustainability across all categories of Procurement
KPI and Menu card reporting
Regional coordination of sustainability workstreams across procurement
Lead change agent to support integration of ESG goals for procurement
Procurement lead interface to key forums on ESG
Drive Supplier Relationship Management and key standards relative to sustainability

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Implement global sourcing strategy within the region, drive the implementation of WMS productivity initiatives across the different factories in the region and execute Loss analysis across the regional supply based and ensuring delivery of key business targets.

Support escalations of the business (supply, quality and commercial) through a defined supplier management programme.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

DIRECTS

Implement Global Sourcing strategies for the WMS categories within the region to achieve the business objectives for the next 12 years.
Execute sourcing plans in line with global standards and policies.
Lead Regional and geographic contract negotiations effectively to deliver robust terms and conditions that manages BAT's service delivery and commercial risk that represent value for money.
Built and execute APMEA productivity road map for WMS (FMC & THP).
Identify and execute source localisation of WMS in order to generate competitive advantage for the group in terms of product cost or flexibility of supply.
Build strong supplier base relationships and manage negotiation and supplier selection within the framework of the category strategies and sourcing strategies set up by the Global Category Team
Execute Loss Analysis initiatives with regional suppliers in order to eliminate losses on the e2e process.
Lead regional and geographic supplier management and drive geographic continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers in coordination with the Global Category Team and business functions.
Monitor contractual performance in accordance with agreed SLAs to identity and resolve issues, escalating as appropriate.
Ability to understand and communicate the individual WMS category strategies and productivity road map to internal stakeholders.
Business Continuity plan execution and proactive risk management.

SUSTAINABILITY

Oversee and direct execution of regional sustainability agenda for procurement through Area PBMs in line with commercial and costsaving targets, as well as ESG commitments and governance requirements.
Lead and deliver collaboration projects with priority supplier base supporting the ESG agenda.
Coordinate and embed global ESG priorities for procurement including knowledge into DRBUs.
Standardise ESG KPIs for management and monitoring across the function and through SRM.
Represent the region at Global ESG T&Ms. Build strong supplier base relationships and manage ESG standards and requirements for integration into negotiation and supplier sele
