Facilities Technician - Senai, Malaysia - Wiwynn Technology Service Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
Description
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of the facility to identify and address maintenance issues.
- Conduct repairs and troubleshoot problems related to electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency situations.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and systems are in good working order.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for facility operations.
- Collaborate with external contractors for specialized repairs and projects.
- Operate and maintain facility equipment, such as generators, boilers, and other machinery.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in the planning and execution of facility improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
Qualification:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a facility technician or in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and protocols.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls.
Additional Skill (Advantage if you have this):
- Certification in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical systems
- Experience with building automation systems (BAS).
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainability practices.
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Pay:
RM1, RM3,500.00 per month
