Sales Operations Manager

Your Responsibilities:


Meetings sales Objectives /Targets.

  • Provide feedback weekly 1:1 to NSM sales performance & monitor, review and ensure sales target are met with the necessary support & assistance of the sales team.
  • Provide feedback and alignment on key chain annual targets
  • Provide monthly sales performance review and reporting

Trade/ Customer Relationship Building:


  • Establish and maintain excellent dealer/chain store relationship.
  • Provide guidance and training to coach Senior Sales Executives in building strong trade/ customer relationship on a regular basis.
  • Actively involved in business review meetings with key customers.
  • Accountable for planning and executing renewal of contracts/ agreement for independent stores in the region.

Promotions Scheduling (Launches)

  • Initiate and develop customized promotions for independent chains/ stores in region.
  • Issue promotion letters for independent chains/ stores and Key Chains in the region.
  • Accountable for timely and effective promotion reviewed by Senior Sales Executives.
  • Ensure appropriate and timely follow up by the Senior Sales Executives (e.g. submitting proposals, stockingup, liaising with internal departments, premiums sourcing and confirmation, signage, price/ paper tags, etc.).

Distribution & Range Assortment:


  • Develop distribution & range strategy for independent stores/ chains
  • Provide input and review on distribution relating launches/ overall product range to Trade Marketing.

Inventory Management

  • Ensure a reasonable average month of stocks per counter is maintained for the region, correct any overstock or understock situation at the various counters.
  • Minimize goods returns according to acceptable percentage over sales and purchases.
  • Feedback on the right distribution of brands for assigned stores.
  • Ensure effective management of proper product mix at the respective counter for the region.

Counter Management

  • Responsible for the region's compliance of VM guidelines and maintenance for launches and customized plans.

People Management

  • Responsible for the management of the total team of SSEs & ROs & Counter Sales (Area Supervisor, Counter Supervisor, Brand Advisor) in the region; including manpower planning, recruitment and cost management.
  • Review inputs from the Senior Sales Executives to determine annual headcount requirements and ensure sufficient manpower per approved headcount.
  • Monitor monthly headcount allocation for the region and be responsible for meeting personnel costs budgeted.
  • Prepare and propose demarcation changes based on business and organizational needs for the region.

Competitors' Activities/ Market Intelligence

  • Responsible for updating Trade Marketing and Brand on competitors' activities.

Debt Collections

  • Ensure ontime credit & independent stores payment collections by the Senior Sales Executives.

Reporting

  • Ensure ontime submission of all daily/ weekly/ monthly sales reports for the region.
  • Consolidate and review them for analysis, decision making and reporting to Management.
  • Ensure ontime submission Part timer / Brand Advisor Overtimes working hours approval by Management for payroll process.

Your ideal profile:


  • 5+years of relevant experience in sales/key account management preferably form Fashion/FMCG/Retail industry.

Technical skills

  • Strong number sense and ability to understand P&L.

Language Skills

  • Strong command of written and spoken English.
  • Ability to converse in local dialects an added advantage.

IT proficiency

  • Highly proficient in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.

Other skills

  • Ability to multitask and work independently in managing changing business needs.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Strong number sense with good analytical skills.
  • Mobility willing to travel within the region for business needs.
