  • To ensure that all power supplies and electrical distribution systems are operating smoothly and as per ordinance.
  • Ensure information technology is compliance with the health & safety policy and Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirements.
  • Carry out repairs and preventive maintenance work in conformity to the plan.
  • Responsible on local authority liaison for licensing and compliance.
  • To work closely with electrical contractors and service engineer and perform repair works for tenant whenever there is a complaint raised.
  • To check all risers and intercom system, ensure all are in perfect function, reset the control panel at the DB box whenever there is tripping or lightning.
  • Responsible for plant wide, preventive maintenance, improvement project, troubleshooting and sourcing.
  • To carry out daily duties and operational support with Aerial Working Platform as required by the management or under the act or any regulations made under the act.
  • Conduct consistent safety and legal routine check.
  • Daily inspection on the electrical main switch board (L.V, HT& Transformer).
  • Monitoring, testing and maintenance of facilities equipment i.e. compressor, chiller and chiller pumps and firefighting system.
  • Liaise with Technician on service and maintenance of equipment/ machines.
  • Trouble shoot and improve the equipment' condition to minimize breakdown.
  • Work in accordance with the Safety, Health & Environment procedures.
  • Report unsafe situations to the Director of Engineering/ Chief Engineer.
  • To complete all daily/monthly work/assignment/report as required by the Management.
  • To undergo training related to safe use of Aerial Working Platform organized by the management through a competent vendor, supply or trainer of Aerial Working Platform.

Job Requirement

  • 11kV (BO2) HT Chargeman certificate.
  • Willing to work in a multiskilled environment with minimum supervision.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of pumps, HVAC system, electrical installations, water treatment plant is an advantage.
  • Commitment to the standards in Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental protection.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Willing to work shift hours.
