Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the Finance department to comprehensively understand their processes, challenges, and goals to identify automation opportunities.
- Document detailed functional requirements for automation projects, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including but not limited to project plans, requirement specifications, and reports to ensure transparency and stakeholder alignment.
- Act as a liaison between the Finance department and the development team, facilitating effective communication and project execution.
- Design and review audit trails and ensure that all automation solutions comply with the company's security best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the selection and implementation of appropriate technologies for automation projects, including D365 enhancements.
- Conduct thorough testing of automated systems to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and security before fullscale implementation.
- Provide ongoing support and training to Finance department personnel to ensure the successful adoption of new systems and processes.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and technologies in automation, financial data management, and IT security to continuously improve internal processes and solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, preferably with a focus on automation projects.
- Indepth knowledge of financial datasets and familiarity with financial processes and terminology.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and experience with financial modules.
- Strong understanding of audit logging mechanisms and IT security best practices, particularly in a financial context.
- Exceptional documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and comprehensive project materials.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the capability to work closely with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks as needed to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications relevant to business analysis, project management, or IT security.
- Experience with automation tools and technologies.
- Prior experience working in or with finance departments.
