Role Overview:

As an IT Project Manager with Data Lake or data warehouse project experience, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing high-impact projects for our client.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders, to ensure seamless project delivery.

Your expertise in data lake or data warehouse solutions will enable you to drive the implementation and optimization of a robust data management framework.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scope, objectives, and milestones.
Develop and maintain project plans, identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
Drive the adoption of best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Provide regular project updates and reports to stakeholders.
Managing the project team, facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business and technical users.
Reviewing source system layouts and schemas, analysing the requirements and creating a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to meet our client's business needs (Including project plans, release plans, staffing plans, status updates, change control processes and customer presentations on project and budget status).
Lead activities around requirements gathering, data analysis, profiling, extraction, validation, data modelling transformation and integration with data from multiple disparate sources.
Work closely with clients and endusers to examine existing processes and develop automated solutions, including specifying program and project plans.

Desired Skills:

Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, preferably within the information technology or consulting industry.
Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools, such as Agile or Scrum
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
A proactive problemsolving mindset, with an ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Proven data warehouse experience

- including taking data warehouse projects from the analysis, envisioning and design phases, to a full lifecycle Data Lake or Data Warehouse implementation.

PMI/PMP certification is preferred but not required.
2+ years working experience in data warehousing or data architecture or date lake environments.
2+ years hands on experience with managing and leading data lake or data warehouse projects.
