Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our team.

The Automation Tester will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our software products by designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks and scripts.

This role requires expertise in automation testing, Agile methodologies, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Create and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy aligned with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for functional, performance, and continuous test/regression testing.
Spearhead Agile testing practices, including TDD and BDD.
Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps engineers, security engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to integrate testing seamlessly within the Agile development cycle.

Requirements:

_ Minimum Qualifications_:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
7 to 10 years of handson experience in automation test script and framework development.

Technical Qualifications:

Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C++, Golang) for automation script development.
Extensive experience in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Familiarity with popular test automation tools (e.g., Postman, Selenium, JUnit).
Indepth understanding of SDLC stages and testing alignment.
Leadership and mentoring skills for crossfunctional collaboration.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Optional but preferred certifications (e.g., ISTQB, Certified Agile Tester).
Awareness of industry standards and regulations.
Adaptability to new technologies and methodologies.

Desirable Skills:

Experience working closely with customers or clients.
Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
Cloud platform experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in SQL and experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Awareness of security best practices and tools.
Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI).
Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance.
Strong code analysis and debugging skills.
