Description
Carry out DFMA analysis based on the drawings received by the customer.

  • Review and verify the BOM list prior to official release.
  • Use design software to develop production drawings (Process Prints) based on customer 2D/3D drawings.
  • Develop test prototypes.
  • Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks.
  • Identify solutions and manufacturing steps to improve production efficiency.
  • Design and fabricate necessary jigs and fixtures required for the sheet metal manufacturing process (welding, spot welding, laser cut, bending, CNC machining, assembly)
  • Provide support and feedback in operating the production machines (Laser, NC Press Brake, Power Press, Robot welding, CMM Machines) based on profound knowledge and understanding to ensure fabricated parts are within customer specifications.
  • Design and fabricate the required fixtures and jigs.
  • Troubleshoot and research to identify root cause of error during production. Coordinate with other departments, Production, NPI, SCM.

Salary:
RM2, RM5,000.00 per month

Experience:

- a designer: 4 years (preferred)
