Our client is a global leader in the lifestyle and performance footwear industry with incredible business growth for the past 30 years.

In lieu with the rapid expansion in Malaysia retail business, they are seeking a
Visual Merchandiser to join their team.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations, inventory and other related warehouse activities from 3PL. Develop, implement & monitor all key functions & processes to improve work flow and ensure high level of productivity & reduction of lead time.
  • Creation and implementation of best practice logistics vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and create operational performance.
  • Identify, develop, negotiate, execute and manage contracts that are associated to operating a terminal with third party contractors, vendors and service providers.
  • Create SOP and Compliance documents based on industry best practices and prevailing laws.
  • Based on company and logistic vision set and drive relevant and attainable goals and strategies. Support on defining/optimizing material movement strategy. Develop and implement the according to the company objectives.
  • Responsible for product distribution activities, including order processing, inventory control and analysis, warehousing, transportation, and logistics planning, customer service and Import & Export trade.
  • Possess handson experience in warehouse operation for low volume, high frequency material distribution. Ensure warehouse activities such as incoming and outgoing, management of inventory and data entry are performed in a timely and orderly manner.
  • Lead team to manage 3PL service providers and followup on logistic performance, customer satisfaction, cost and quality KPI results.
  • Perform periodic review and report on inventory movement, warehouse operation and 3PL performance.
  • Provide timely submission of monthly actual costing report & 3PL KPI meeting.
  • Plan the annual budgets, seek qualify reliable suppliers of supplies & services, negotiate on the contract rate & commercial terms.
  • Develop and drive program for efficiency improvement and cost optimization.
  • Negotiate/maintain best possible rates and service levels for all sample shipments before nominated 3rd party logistics.
  • Any other assignment on a requirement basis.

Requirements:


  • A Bachelor's degree in fields of study such as supply chain management, business management, or in any analytics discipline
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience logistics & warehouse management function, preferably in retails industry and international trade
  • Knowledge in demand planning & inventory control.
  • Advanced skills in Excel. Good analytical skills. Independently execute data queries across multiple data sources in support of business intelligence reporting needs.
  • 2 years and above working experience in managerial role
  • Strong data analysis skill
  • Good SAP or other ERP system experience
  • Knowledge of import and export regulations

Salary:
RM4, RM6,000.00 per month


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- logistics & warehouse management function: 5 years (preferred)


Language:


  • Mandarin (preferred)
