Responsibilities:

Team Setup and Leadership:


  • Establish and lead the Business Development team in Malaysia.
  • Recruit, train, and develop team members to achieve business development objectives.

Market Research and Opportunity Identification:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities in Malaysia.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics.

Channel Partner Development:


  • Identify and target potential channel partners for marketing our consulting services.
  • Develop and nurture strong relationships with partners to drive business growth.

Direct Customer Acquisition:


  • Lead efforts to attract direct customers, including retail clients, corporations, and high net worth individuals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to meet customer acquisition targets.

Service-specific Targeting:


  • Tailor business development strategies to target clients for M&A, family office/legacy planning, and offshore financial products.
  • Collaborate with the team to create compelling value propositions for these services.

Sales and Revenue Generation:


  • Set and achieve sales targets for the Business Development team.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop effective sales strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in business development and team leadership.

  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding abilities.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Analytical mindset for market research and opportunity assessment.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience in the consulting services industry, particularly in M&A, family office/legacy planning, and offshore financial products.
Expected Start Date: 03/01/2024


Salary:
RM12, RM18,000.00 per month
