DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)Clean and make up rooms according to established operation standard by performing such daily


ACTIVITIES AS:
- a)Make up beds and change linen. b)Clean bathrooms and balcony. c)Clean floors/carpet and upholstery. d)Dust and clean furniture/appliance and other fixtures. e)Change towels and replenish supplies in rooms. f)Empty and clean waste baskets. g)Clean sinks and toilet bowl, dirty glasses and cabinets. h)Whenever necessary clean/dust closet doors, walls and ceiling. i)Clean windows, mirrors, lamps, picture and frame. j)Vacuum carpet and if necessary, change blankets and bed cover. k)Check and replace burned out bulbs (inform supervisor or maintenance department) 2)Perform through cleaning of vacant rooms, making sure that all appliances are in working order. Report any malfunction to the assistant housekeeper and replace missing equipment for supplies. 3)Responsible for adequate supplies of maids' trolley as operating standards before cleaning and making up rooms. 4)Control linen inventory on floor level pantry. 5)Responsible for the general up - keep if the floor pantry for the assigned floor. 6)To complete assignment report and checklist for each shift. 7)Responsible for the master keys and floor pantry key for assigned area. Ensure proper care of keys and return all keys after the shift to the assistant housekeeper or floor supervisor. 8)Report and hand over any found articles to the housekeeper or assistant immediately. 9)Record malfunction equipment in the guest rooms in the maid assignment report. 10)Report any accidents, suspicious person, fire, occurrence of any accident immediately to the housekeeper, assistant housekeeper, security or duty manager. 11)Responsible for assigned corridors, glass doors and ashtray cleanliness. 12)The maid station door has to be closed at all times. 13)Move furniture as necessary in cleaning/making up rooms. 14)Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the housekeeper or assistant housekeeper.
