Management Trainee - Actuarial/Data Analytics

Major in Actuarial Science

Contract : 1 Year + 1 Year
PIAM Secretariat
Reports to Senior Management Team

Responsibilities

To support the Head of Department in managing and analyzing the insurance industrial data to derive meaningful insights for all relevant stakeholders.
To perform research of any relevant trends and statistics on external sources to support analysis of internal data.
To explore and consolidate data from all data sources into a single data repository.
To prepare and present regular reports to Management and support with relevant recommendations to facilitate informed and timely decision making.
To support in various data and actuarial related projects.
To assist in preparing reports and presentation slides for briefing to all relevant stakeholder.
To support in projects from other departments/Senior Management Team.
To perform other adhoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications

A fresh graduate, with less than one year of working experience.
Good interpersonal skills.
Excellent lateral thinking skills.
Possesses confidence and maturity in offering articulate point of views.
Dynamic, versatile, resourceful and resultoriented.
Willing to learn and be fully committed.
An influencer (strong leadership and interpersonal skills when working with others).
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Works well independently and in and across teams.
Team player with a problemsolving attitude.
