    Job Summary

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    Financial Performance Monitoring

    • Responsible for daily operations of project accounts, including preparation and continuous monitoring of project budget and cash flows. Responsible to perform monthly analysis on financial data and critically highlight unusual items, if any.
    • Liaising with various internal departments on implementation of monitoring tools/ budget monitoring.

    Financial Accounting

    • Responsible and ensure proper setting up and implementation of accounting system and records in accordance of the Group's accounting policies and statutory requirements.
    • Ensure timely preparation of monthly financial/ project account, in compliance with application accounting standards.
    • Responsible for full compliance with the company's internal controls.
    • Liaising with other departments or inter-related companies on any information/ documents required and perform reconciliation.

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Liaising with Head Office, bankers, auditors, tax agent and statutory bodies on accounting, financial and statutory related matters.
    • Supervising, training and monitoring the output of subordinates/ staff.

    Qualifications

    Degree in Accounting/Finance or professional qualification or equivalent. Member of MIA.

    Skills & Abilities

    Required Skills:

    • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Result oriented, Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Strong analytical and problems solving skill, excellent interpersonal skill.

    Experience

    At least 8 years' experience in financial accounting functions with minimum 5 years working experience in managerial position.
