Description
1.

Responsible for seeing to the efficiency and daily operation of the retail shops (a minimum of 4 retail outlets) namely:
1.1 Overall merchandising (the retail (outlet) team will do the merchandising)

1.2 Inventory management (internal system available to monitor)

1.2.1 Ensure the stores keep healthy inventory without overstocking.

1.2.2 Ensure retail outlets do fast repeat orders of stocks sold.

1.2.3 Inform HQ marketing on the aging stocks to work out promotions to clear the slow-moving stocks.


1.2.4 Once "out of stock" arrives at HQ please inform outlets to repeat orders if there is no marketing executive for those brands.


  • You are expected to utilize 80% of your working time to be in the outlets so you can be more effective in overseeing the outlets (minimum 4).
  • You will be given a sales commission on the sales done in each of the retail shops. The commission scheme will be given to you when you report to work (Indicatively, it is 0.2% to 0.3% on the total sales revenue of all outlets that you oversee.

Estimated minimum commission range:
RM450 - RM1000+/month)


  • Be involved in creating a conducive environment for customers' experience within the retail shops in line with events, promotions or just a good feel when customers walk into the shop. This can be done in consultation and working with HQ marketing, retail staff, and the HQ visual merchandisers. During events, you need to be at the outlet to coordinate, to get to know the guests and customers.
  • Responsible to see the efficient workflow of staff based on HQ SOP and to inform HR if staff recruitment (re-hiring, re-fill/replacement) for any of the outlets is required.
  • To oversee and ensure overall the security of the retail outlets, the cashier area and the management of daily takings are banked in according to the HQ SOP set.
  • To give close cooperation to the HQ Internal Auditors on questions raised. To clarify and rectify on issues raised by internal auditors.
  • Monthly Stock Take
8.1 To ensure retail staff arrange stocks for easy count for the internal audit by the auditors.

8.2 Any discrepancies please ensure there is a check on the documentation entry error before reporting as a loss. (To work with the order processing team on this)


  • Be the effective liaison between HQ order processing, Marketing and HR as and when required for the effective daily operations of the retail outlets you manage.
  • The effective and efficient operation of the retail shops is to ensure sales targets are met
10.1 Work with the marketing team to create sales activities so stocks move, and brand/shop targets are met.


  • Be alert on competitor's promotions and pricing of related products within the malls by informing the marketing team. Always provide feedback so the marketing team can be more effective in providing mechanics or activities that can better serve your outlets' customers.
  • To build a good relationship with the Mall's marketing team as they can provide you platforms to create awareness of your stores' promotions and events.
  • You are to work out your monthly schedule and a weekly report to submit to the Group Managing Director (G.M.D.) or to the person you are reporting to.

Salary:
RM4, RM5,800.00 per month
