Assistant Manager, Social Compliance - Klang, Malaysia - Mah Sing Healthcare
Description
Conducting regular compliance risk assessment, internal reviews and audits and operational audits to ensure the company meets operational legal compliance requirements.
- Advising internal management on the implementation of compliance programs and developing risk management strategies
- Developing and overseeing control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and revision of policies, strategies, guidelines, formats/manuals, tools and procedures in order to ensure the lawful and ethical operation of the company.
- Evaluating and revising procedures, reports etc. periodically to identify and address hidden risks or nonconformity issues promptly.
- Contribute to the review and update of the company's policies and strategies to mainstream environmental in driving sustainable and ethical business practices.
- Maintain proper documentation of all compliance activities for purposes of safekeeping and progress tracking.
- Provide expert leadership for the development and implementation of best practices and innovative approaches related to ethical business practices, sustainability, and risk management.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Ensure all employees understand all practices and regulations, as well as address any concerns.
- Oversee the preparation of management responses to audit, independent evaluation, compliance and review mechanism.
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Business Studies, Law, Economics, Management, Certification in Regulatory Compliance or related field.
- 46 years' experience in an audit/social compliance/legal environment.
- Knowledge and understanding of the industry's regulations and best practices in the manufacturing industry.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
- Strong leadership, analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Salary:
RM7, RM9,500.00 per month
