The role is based in 1Powerhouse, Selangor, Malaysia.


Key responsibilities:

  • Work with Finance Director as a partner for financial planning and accounting related
- questions and provide relevant information to support commercial decisions.

  • Ensure crossfunctional alignment of the financial planning and accounting functions
- by identifying gaps and overlaps and by introducing initiatives to resolve them

  • Ensure accurate and reliable financial planning by overseeing daytoday activities in
- financial planning and accounting

  • Financial Planning and Forecasting
  • Oversee the Finance cycles management (OB/RF) in collaboration with the management
  • In charge of financial analysis and insights, incl. reporting to the Director Finance & Planning
  • Drive KPI calculation and reporting to management of the data collection process
  • Support the management in the preparation, analysis and comments for Finance information reports
  • Financial Accounting, Risk & Control and Local Statutory
  • Oversee relevant processes and collection methods to ensure compliance with financial standards and accounting policies.
  • Drive continuous risk assessment and implementation of controls
  • Data Model & Data Governance
  • Govern and structure relevant enterprise data and identify data gaps to enable analytics driven management reporting
  • Understand the impact of the data on the business plan/ business strategy

Essential Skills and competencies:

  • At least 13 years of proven experience in business finance and accounting.
  • Degree in Finance, business administration, or related disciplines. Professional
- certification/ qualification is required.

  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Ability to think strategically by embracing complexity, ambiguity and able to translate
- opportunities to experiment and create solutions for the organization.

  • Ability to work well in and across diverse business/ commercial/global teams with

- trust

  • Excellent influencing and communication skills
  • Ability to drive and manage change
