Responsibilities:

Monitor and validate the conformity of products / processes in production

Manage/ Monitor Quality Indicators for Moulding and ISC product
From site Quality performance, define strategy and continuous improvement to reach excellence
Is the owner of 4M matrix respect with regards product or process changes to ensure customer awareness and approval of changes in accordance with the 4M matrix
Update the quality documents following a process related change management
Verify the continuous conformance of the process to generate product to specification in accordance with the control plans (machine capability yearly product audits, ISO TS)
Take part of process audit and FDPR for P1 projects
Take part of Change committee weekly reviews
Perform regular audits to ensure the respect of standard within Production 1 and perform OJT (On Job Training)
Support the site to define boundary samples (limit parts) with both internal and external customers

Management of quality teams (APU Quality Engineers, QC, IPQC):

Lead Production 1 Quality department (organization, staffing, budget, equipment...)
Lead daily / monthly meetings with Quality teams to share main KPIs, fix objectives of quality team members and define actions / assignments
Support APU Managers / Site Manager in the analysis of issues assigned in the QRQC activities
Update the quality tracking charts : Customer Returns
Cost of Non Quality
Ensure that rules are respected and "Stop at first disagree" and "Stop at first no" are applied
Has authority to stop a manufacturing / assembly line in any situation where Standards are not respected or a safety or quality risk for the operator or for the customer has been detected or following a LLC Stability audit demonstrating lower than 100%
Develop and coordinate the site Quality Improvement plan following guidelines from Group and Product Group and promote Quality Culture

Customer interface for Quality Matters (both internal & external customers):

Interact as window interface / Customers on quality purposes
Initiate the QRQC in Incident Management database participate to the containment and validate the robustness of the containment action plan, lead PDCA-FTA when needed
Participate in the eradication of Customer issues and Non Quality issues
Be involved in Customer audits preparation and take part in customer audits
Ensure customer improvement plan implementation and improvement actions
Represent Customer within Valeo on Quality matters (communication/Escalation)

Ensure that the Quality System is respected to achieve customer satisfaction for Quality:

Understand existing Quality system
Identify weaknesses of existing Quality system and define strategy as well as action plan to improve
Lead workshops to improve / deploy Quality system within Production
Lead / Train / Coach people on Quality system to ensure a strong understanding of system within the factory
Perform audits on the line to detect nonrespect of the Standard and identify with the APUs the actions to be completed to therefore comply with the Standard
Perform the revision of the control plan after an issue
Implement 5 axes methodologies in the site
Audit the Quality System periodically (Internal and support of Customer Audit)
