The manager role is expected to lead and execute data-driven solutions for banks and non-banks on retail and SME loan portfolios, using a consultancy approach to deliver tailored solutions to our clients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage a small team of data analysts to develop and implement advanced analytics models for risk management and credit scoring using SAS or similar tools.
  • Utilize credit bureau data and other relevant data sources to create tailored propositions and solutions for banks and nonbanks on retail and SME loan portfolios.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to deliver datadriven actionable insights and recommendations, taking into account the specific needs and requirements of each client.
  • Use a consultancy approach to engage with clients, understand their business challenges, and provide customized datadriven solutions that address their unique needs.
  • Continuously monitor and improve data quality to ensure accuracy and completeness and incorporate feedback from clients to improve solutions and services.
  • Use statistical and data visualization techniques to present data in a clear and compelling way and communicate insights and recommendations effectively to clients.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in the banking and credit risk management industry, and share insights and knowledge with clients and the team.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, computer science, etc.).
  • At least 8 years of experience in data analytics, with a focus on credit risk management and/or banking, and minimum 2 years of experience in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of data and modelling tools such as SAS, Python, and R, and advanced data handling skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with the ability to communicate complex data concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Experience in retail and SME banking, with a background in credit risk management. Experience with credit bureau data is a plus.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • A consultancy approach to client engagement, with the ability to understand and address the unique needs and challenges of each client.
