Description

This role primarily responsible for administering and tracking of account payables related to Hasanah's Grant, program-related reimbursement, and partnership-related expenses.

The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the special project financial accounts in line with the organizational accounts and operational budget to support Hasanah's business goals and strategies.


Key Roles & Responsibilities:


  • Ensure accurate, complete, and timely updates of the accounting records of YH and Special projects.
  • Working with the other department in establishing a project "rate card" from internal data benchmark with external data.
  • To prepare a proper tracker on project disbursement against budget, to perform regular reconciliation of finance record vs. project team.
  • Production of project financial statements and assist with the production of the Statutory Financial Statements for the Company in accordance with statutory requirements.
  • Involved in the grant selection activities such as review, research, and analysis of applicant grant proposals.
  • Ensure proper management of the filing system for all audit schedules and all accounting records.
  • Preparation of cash flow reports especially for the project, according to their focus areas.
  • Assist in the preparation of tax computation for submission to IRB.
  • Assisting in the preparation and updating of functional policy and procedure and facilitating the key stakeholders with the Change Management processes and methodologies.
  • Guide the process of risk assessments during a review of risk registers involving the department and process owner and assist in conducting internal audit activities.

Requirements:


  • Preferably at least 5 years of relevant working experience in a project team
  • Good verbal and written communications skills; with an eye for detail
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough understanding of financial analysis
  • Ability to communicate issues upward, providing proposals for solutions
  • Able to structure complex issues and support his/her team in tackling them in bitesized chunks
  • Flexible; must be willing and capable of adapting to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Evidence of dependability, trustworthiness, and effective work habits
  • Ability to take initiative and complete project assignments independently or as part of a team
  • Ability to represent the organisation in a professional and highly competent manner
  • Must be able to multitask during peak periods and be able to work with deadlines
  • Must be able to work in a close, crossfunctional team environment
