Retail Supervisor - George Town, Malaysia - MUJI (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd
Description
Assist effectively and efficiently by achieving the sales target set- Meet company's targets and policies in an effective and efficient manner
- Ensure action taken in all promotional plans
- Provide suggestive and constructive idea for increasing revenue
- To assist in scheduling the Junior staff duties and use comparison list to update the information of top best seller item to the juniors, and taking action for any necessary changes
- Assist in conducting daily briefing on sales achievement / budget, product launch and promotions, etc.
- Ensure the progress of qualifying standards, in term of customer service, healthy working environment and safety at the work place are met
- To ensure valued merchandise are secured with senor tag, especially Garment department
- To follow up with after sales service
- Identify training needs and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities to enhance the skills and knowledge of the retail team.
- To assist in handling customer queries and dissatisfactory
- To actively motivate the members to take initiative in greeting the customer
- Report and Guide staff on the proper procedure in handling faulty or broken merchandise To ensure daily replenishment are being carried out
- To provide each individual department in charge with stock listing report so as to ensure all available stock are being displayed
- To ensure that stock receive in correct quantities and promptly reported on any discrepancy or damaged
- To monitor stock level and check that all transfer are done correctly
- To ensure stock are properly displayed and kept in good condition and monitor on fast and slow moving stock
- To ensure stock sold are in
first in first out basic - To assist the posting of TO whenever it is require
- Other adhoc will be assigned by the retail/store manager
Job Requirement
- Willing to travel to KL for temporary training purposed before the store open.
- Proven experience as a Retail Supervisor or similar supervisory role in a retail environment.
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional customer experience.
- Solid understanding of retail operations, including sales techniques, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
