What You'll Do

The Project Manager will lead other members of the Professional Services team in the implementation of software solutions for our clients.

The Project Manager will be required to work on multiple projects, coordinating resources to ensure all milestones are met on time, on budget, on schedule, with high quality standards and with high customer satisfaction.

The Project Manager may perform business analyst functions to scope net-new or additional project phases.

This role actively mentors team members to ensure they further develop their skills and that their performance objectives are achieved.


  • Leads a team in the implementation of software solutions across multiple client deliveries
  • Ensures predictable, consistent, and successful delivery making sure project scope and requirements are well defined and that the project staffing and budget levels are appropriate at all stages of the project life cycle
  • The ability to develop technical specifications from business/functional requirements, manage project resources, and the ability to skilfully manage internal and external clients
  • Create documentation for any key project decisions, action items, issues and other pertinent information
  • Document detailed requirements for product enhancements and new features
  • Organize and lead user acceptance testing (UAT) with the appropriate project stakeholders
  • Answer questions and resolve functional and technical issues from stakeholders
  • Clearly communicates project status and manages expectations to internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensures client satisfaction with overall service provided and future opportunities are identified and progressed
  • Manages a team of consultants and analysts, ensuring their performance meets expectations

Skills/Abilities Required

  • Proven track record with 6+ years in a Project Management role.
  • Knowledge of and experience working with SDLC (software development life cycle) and utilization of various implementation methodologies for projects execution (Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)
  • Strongly preferred experience managing projects for banks, fintech, etc.
  • Strongly preferred experience managing software implementations from the vendor side
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, business and technical writing skills
  • Strong organizational, problemsolving, leadership skills. Ability to manage and motivate a team to achieve their milestones
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of technology projects from initiation to production launch and support
  • Effective management of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, customer expectations and satisfaction, team management (cross functional, cross organizational), and client relationships
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), MS Project and Visio
  • Ability to prioritize, make decisions and meet tight deadline
  • Experience of a fastpaced and challenging environment
  • Excellent multitasking skills, must be able to work on several distinct projects at the same time
  • Appreciation of a range of technologies, including databases, and their implementation in a business environment

Travel
The position will be based in Kuala Lumpur office.

Approximately 30% travel is required to support clients in APAC, typically at critical points within the delivery, like project initiation and/or handover of the solution to the client.
