Description
Build and install PCs, telephone systems, wireless networks and peripheral devices (such as printers, scanners, mobile/smart phones) related to desktop infrastructure, in accordance with department standards

  • Provides advice and guidance to customers regarding incidents and service requests
  • Maintain installed PCs, networks, telephone systems and peripherals with routine maintenance
  • Identify potential changes and system improvements to present to Team leader for consideration and implementation
  • Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with department guidelines
  • Create, maintain, and distribute reports of progress to Team leader
  • Maintain customer databases with up to date solutions and clear record of activities in the Help Desk system, such as knowledge base, case status, etc
  • Explain and document technical issues in a clear way to clients
  • Use call logging system to accurately record telephone requests

Desktop Support Skills and Requirements:

  • Previous working experience as an Level 1.5 or 2 as IT Desktop support for 2 years
  • Excellent Customer Service in FacetoFace, Telephone or Electronic Interaction with Customers,
  • Good Language and Communications Skills, Problem-Solving,
  • Good Understanding of Computer Support and Troubleshooting,
  • Knowledge of Windows 7, Vista, 10, Mac OSX, Windows Server products and/or Apple Operating Systems,
  • Ability to Work in a Team, Ability to Prioritise Project
  • Must have experience in using ticketing tools preferably ServiceNow

Job Type:
Contract

Contract length: 12 months


Pay:
RM3, RM3,300.00 per month
